Today the last picture of the serie. The picture shows a silhouette of my designs. My outfit is a sweater, a little oversized, in combination with a simple design of the trouser. All dark blue.
Most of the time my sister and I go out for a shoot, she takes a serie of photos. In this serie we tried to capture the geometry of the surroundings. We wanted lines, as well in the outfit as in the background.
The trouser is my own design, again similar pattern as the trousers I showed you the past weeks, but totally different fabric. The shirt is the only thing I bought and my choice for this outfit to create extra lines. This picture is one of my favourites of the shoot. It was taken at an unexpected moment and often those pictures are the most interesting ones. There happens a lot in the picture but the outfit is still standing out. I kept the designs simple and let the color and fabrics do the work.
As it is 30 degrees outside I'm spending some time inside the house to cool down a little bit. Today I have been working on some designs of a friend of mine. He will be launching his label in August and I'm very excited for him and happy to play a small role in his rollercoaster till the deadline.
The outfit is a design that has evolved during the design process. I originally planned to make just a trouser but in the process the fabric turned out to be very easy to shape. I decided to include a top which emphasize the body. I really look forward to make the design in another fabric to see the differences in shape and movement of the fabric. It's a beautiful sunday morning. I'm just waking up having my fruit breakfast and some tea. The balcony doors are open and the sun is shining in. It's a perfect start of the day and I'm rethinking the last couple of weeks. I have been travelling to South France last week and that inspires me to share this picture. This picture is part two of the six week serie and I'm wearing one of my favourite travelling looks. Being back home I feel inspired to get back to work and do what I love the most: creating. The coming weeks and months I will build myself further as well physically as mentally to be able to follow my dreams. One step at the time.
