The past weeks I find myself becoming more and more interested in sustainable fashion. This week I had a meeting with one of my fabric suppliers, which always makes me super excited. She only supplies natural, sustainable and fair trade fabrics. We made a plan to produce this amazing green, woolen fabric for my orders of the sale last week. I am very curious for the results.
If sustainable, fair trade fabrics got your interest as well, take a look at her website www.neidig.nu.
I got even more excited when I found out about the Textile symposium on the 10th of November in Amersfoort. The programme contains many speakers, all talking about our present garment industry. It took my interest immediatly and I ordered my ticket at www.textielcommissie.nl.
I, personally, can't wait for a more sustainable fashion industry.
What about you?
